Public security requirements
The Italian laws for public security (art 109 of the RD 18.06.1931 n.773) require us to communicate to the local police commissioner the name of the guests and information according to the procedures established by the ministry of the interior (GU n.14 del 17-1-2013). So we can clearly communicate the required information to the authorities, for each guest we will need to take a copy of either the passport number or EU ID card number or EU driving license number as well as record the date of arrival and nights of accommodation for electronic submission to Polizia di Stato.
Telematic transmission of receipts data
As of 1 January 2020, the Italian law (Decree of 05.08.2015 no. 127 ) requires us with the issue of a receipt to individuals to provide for the telematic transmission (through the use of an approved device, Registratore Cassa Telematico) to the Italian tax office Agenzia delle Entrate.
Accounting and tax obligations
In order to comply with current administrative, accounting and tax obligations, the required information such as contact details, tax code and/or VAT number on invoice statements and tax documents will be submitted periodically, through our appointed accountant to the Italian tax office Agenzia delle Entrate.
